Thanks for this Ron: I so wanted to be there for the memorial service, but was unable to do so. Avery was a friend from way back at OBU days together.

He was a dear friend as I also count you and Patricia as very dear friends and am so very greatful for both of you and your ministry.

Want to order the book on “Cant’ Stop the Music. I look forwa rd to reading it.

Randy, I agree that Bro. Manley’s messages need to be made available on a broader scale. Pray with us about this. I have talked with the Beasley family but they are presently all busy with their own ministries. I would personally get involved if it were not for the writing deadlines I face.

Iris: Trophy of Grace is doing well and I have just submitted The Milldale Story to the publisher. I’m now working on Call Me Blue, the story of Iris’ husband. As you know, Manley was, and in many ways still is, their mentor.

Manley was my spiritual papa. I was
sharing with someone that the Lord
spoke to me so much through him that
I did not know he was just a man until
talking to him one day. He was so much
a part of my spiritual growth that I
sound like him when I talk about the
Lord. His blood truly speaks from the
grave.

I have had a burden to see his tapes
and videos offered over the internet.
I talked to the folks at Love Worth
Finding to see if they could offer his
teachings but they said it would have
to done by the Beasley family. I remember
him doing a video once and addressing the audience as if he knew that people
down through the ages would watch it
one day.

Can I get a witness?

That was the perfect word for me at just the perfect time. I needed to feel that tingle just now, at the very wonder of God peeking into a human life. I treasure gifts like your raindrop, as tiny as they are sometimes. They’re like lovers’ notes, hidden in sure-to-be-found places. We are truly loved and treasured, aren’t we?

Thank you so much for posting that poem.
Is it alright for me to copy it by hand and share it with some who are really
hurting after the sudden and tragic death
of a man who was a friend to so many? His family thought of him as a loser, but
they didn’t know til the Memorial service
last week how many he had selflessly helped. He spent his last two suppers with me, for him a real respite, for me an incredible treasure. His songs Thru it all & Morning has broken.
